Great insight into the effectiveness of treatments. When you get to the section about NNT (number needed to treat) remember that the NNT for Vision Therapy is 1. All VT patients get better. We could question whether the time or effort was worth the improvement but all get better. If we had all the money spent on low risk patients taking statin drugs (with no benefit per Dr.Newman) we could pay for all vision therapy and improve the cognitive function of our students dramatically. This is great insight. Thank you Dr. Newman.
